Job Description

As the Director of Sales at SaltWorks, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and drive performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase sales
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

Required Skills

- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team, driving performance and achieving targets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Willingness to travel as required

Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000 Exempt
